Jacquelyn Ensley Hall

Mrs. Jacquelyn Ensley “Jackie” Hall, age 79, a resident of 37555 U.S. Highway 264 East, Belhaven, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Belhaven Missionary Baptist Church officiated by Pastor David Pierce. Burial will be later in Pamlico County.

Mrs. Jackie was born in Craven County on Aug. 16, 1932, the daughter of the late Albert Manley Ensley and the late Dollie Doris Hardison Ensley. She was a graduate of Arapahoe High School and continued her education in business.  Mrs. Jackie married Robert Lee Hall on May 21, 1951, who survives. She worked as a medical assistant with Dr. William Sugg in Winston–Salem. Mrs. Jackie was a faithful member of Belhaven Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of CMA and the quilting group.

Surviving along with Mrs. Jackie’s husband Robert of the home are two sons, Mike Hall and wife Mandy of Cumming, Ga., and Steve Hall and wife Annette of Belhaven; a sister, Alberta O’Hare of Princess Ann, Md.; and four grandchildren, Jenny Hall, John Hall, Ashley H. Aurgemma and Megan Hall.

The family will fellowship with friends in the Fellowship Hall of Belhaven Missionary Baptist Church following the service.
