Irene Perry Griffin, 89, a resident of 3374 Smithwick Creek Road, Williamston, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at her home. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Macedonia Christian Church with Dolan Baker and Greg Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Tice Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Christian Church and other times at the home of Phyllis and Lee Pearson, 3471 Smithwick Creek Church Road.
