Macswoods was one of the hardest hit areas in the city with Hurricane Irene. If the City Council is so concerned about the appearance of the city, then it needs to take a tour and enforce clean up of the debris on properties owned by absentee landlords and homeowners. It would be well for the City Council members to take a tour and see for themselves and either fine or enforce clean up in this area.
A good solution for the clean up of Macswoods is if the homeowners will not clean up their own properties, then get the city to clean it up and bill the owners. That way you’ll get some attention.
Thank you, Ray, for being there when the people of Beaufort County needed you. You provided a forum for the citizens to change the ridiculous to the reasonable. Good luck in your new endeavors.
Please tell Polly Unterzuber that around here it’s always been a chili dog with a bun and just chili on it. That’s the way it’s always been as far back as I can remember in Beaufort County, and I’m 74 years old.
