Vera Green Rogers Harrison, 99, a resident of Bear Grass, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at her home. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Christian Church with Greg Sexton and Dolan Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the church and other times at her residence. Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston.
