Mr. Eugene Whitehurst, 84, a resident of 2280 Free Union Road, Jamesville, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at Roanoke Landing Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Plymouth. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Bishop Daniel Boston officiating. Burial will follow at Whitehurst family cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. tonight at Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
