Ilona H. Wolf

Ilona H. Wolf, age 71, a resident of Chocowinity, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, with her loving daughter Domina and granddaughter Angel by her side at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River, Fla.

Mrs. Wolf, formerly of New York, was a beloved educator at Beaufort County Community College, an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Washington and a former volunteer and employee of the Literacy Volunteers of Beaufort County. She will be fondly remembered as a vivacious woman who lived life with vigor. She loved, dearly, her students, friends and family and will be sorely missed by all.

Mrs. Wolf is survived by her loving daughter Domina Daughtrey and her grandchildren Tyler Daughtrey, Angel Vogel and Denise Daughtrey, and is preceded in death by her beloved husband Herman E. Wolf, parents Julius and Helen Horvath and son Reid Daughtrey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church of Washington.
