Joseph Gurganus, 88, a resident of 1486 Johnson Drive, Williamston, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Robbie Parker officiating. Burial with Masonic and Military rites will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Williamston.
