Local residents attending William Peace University, Raleigh, who made the fall Dean’s List, included Jeanna Buck, Caroline Jackson and Amanda Rose, all of Washington, and Kaitlynn Dionne of Williamston.

To earn this distinction, a student must maintain at least a 3.3 average in all courses.

Individuals named to the Dean’s List at Craven Community College for the fall 2011 semester included Betty H. Cutler, Alicia R. Dixon and Sherreka C. Gibbs of Aurora; Mechele L. Cuthrell of Blounts Creek; Lee-Anna N. Alexander of Edward, and  Hope Warren of Jamesville.

To qualify for the list, students must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or better out of a possible 4.0 on at least 12 hours of college-level course work.
