Wedding – Edwards-Eddings

Stuart Logan Edwards and Josh Elliott Eddings were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. November 19, 2011, at Saint Mary’s Free Will Baptist Church in New Bern, NC. Dr. Randy Spaugh, Pastor of Faith Fellowship Church in Kinston, officiated the ceremony.

Escorted by her father and stepfather and presented in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Henry Elam of New Bern and Stuart Michael Edwards of Kinston. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Clifton Edwards and the late Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Laverne Wooten.

A 2009 graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is a Registered Nurse at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Dana Wilson Eddings of Washington, NC. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Marion Eddings and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Carrow Elliott.

A 2008 graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. He is employed by Wimco General Contractors.

Stacey Edwards Meeks of Greenville, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Kathryn Rose Benton and Mallory Grey Conway, both of Greenville; Brittany Michelle Croom, Katherine Jameson Keith, and Kari Lynn Meeks, all of Kinston; Jamie Lynn Pearson of Chapel Hill; Caroline Smith Pelletier of Grimesland; Jennifer Foreman Rawls of Greenville; and Emily Eddings Woolard of Washington, sister of the groom.

Dana Wilson Eddings, father of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Jerod Daniel Allen of Raleigh; William Holmes Lilley III of Greensboro; Bryan Edwards Meeks of Greenville; Luke Sullivan Pearson of Chapel Hill; Josh Randal Pelletier of Grimesland; Kevin David Rawls of Greenville, brother of the groom; Brandon Scott Roberson of Richmond, VA; Dustin Bracky Rogers of Mount Airy; and Bryan Keith Woolard of Washington.

The ring bearers were Connor Edward Meeks, nephew of the bride and Trevor David Rawls, nephew of the groom.

Wedding music was provided by organist Brenda Stilley Lewis of New Bern, and soloist Jennifer Ann Justus of Wilmington.

Elizabeth Liles Radford of Wilson directed the wedding and Katharine McDuffy Marett of Greenville was the program attendant.

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception and dance was given by the bride’s parents at the New Bern Golf and Country Club. Guests were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Danny Rowland. Music was provided by Jupiter Jones Band of Greenville.

After a honeymoon trip to Roatan, Honduras, the couple resides in Grimesland.
