Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.
I love our little Washington Daily News paper, but you should not bow to the person in the Sound Off who wanted you to remove the Daily Bread and Today’s Meditation. It is one of the best parts of the paper. If it’s removed, I absolutely will cancel my subscription.
To the person who suggested the Daily Bread and Today’s Meditation should be removed from the paper: You need to count your blessings.
I’m calling in response to the person who recommended you remove the Daily Bread and Today’s Meditation from your paper. I would like to applaud the Daily News for running the Daily Bread and Today’s Meditation. That’s something that I enjoy and use as part of my devotion every morning, and I would just encourage everyone else who subscribes to the Daily News to do that as well.
Today’s Meditation and the Daily Bread are much needed. Please keep it in the paper.
Congratulations, Bartow, on your Jan. 24 column. You definitely nailed it. All we need now is just some people with a little bit of education and a whole lot of common sense.
