SOUND OFF: 1/27/12
Published 12:00 am Friday, January 27, 2012
Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.
To the person who wants to take the Daily Bread and the Daily Meditation out of the paper: Anytime somebody wants to do away with something pertaining to Christ as Savior is part of the Antichrist. If you don’t like this part, don’t read it. As for the ones who do like it, let us keep on reading it.
I really enjoy the meditation in the paper and hope that you will keep printing it everyday.
I am calling in response to the Sound Off person who requested that the Daily Bread and the meditation be left out of the paper. I would like to express my desire for it to be left in. I thoroughly enjoy it, and it really is an inspiration. There are a lot of people who don’t get out and can’t get out to church services. They can have those items to read in the paper. I think those items are assets to the paper. I just wish that it would continue.
To the caller who submitted the Sound Off item about the Daily Bread and Today’s Meditation should be removed from the paper: I disagree wholeheartedly. I’d rather have Daily Bread and Today’s Meditation in the paper any day than to have cartoons in the paper. I think they need to go to church and get a life.
