Scott and Jessica Harris of Bridgeton, NC, announce the birth of their daughter Mackenzie Elizabeth Harris at 5:55 a.m., January 11, 2012, at Carolina East Medical Center.

Mackenzie weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 21 1/2 inches long. The mother is the former Jessica Digges.

Maternal grandparents are Joe and Sandra Digges of Washington, NC.

Paternal grandparents are Ruth Harris of Aurora, NC, and the late Louis D. Harris.

Great-grandparents are Hilda Digges of Asheville, NC, and the late Joseph L. Digges Sr.; Josephine Frances Nobles of New Bern, NC, and Hilton and Barbara Nobles of Virginia.
