Ralph Dempsey Bowen, 76, a resident of Plymouth, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Washington County Hospital in Plymouth. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Long Acre Chapel Christian Church with Thelbert Leggett and Rupert Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. tonight at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth, and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
