Mrs. Nannie Vernice Shields, 88, a resident of 515 Barbour Court, Smithfield, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Free Will Baptist Church, Farmville. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Friday at W.E. Flanagan Memorial Chapel and from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Arrangements are by W.E. Flanagan Memorial Funeral Home.
