From Monday through Nov. 7, the Daily News will not publish unsolicited comments about candidates for public office online or in its print editions.
The newspaper will publish comments about the elections, political parties or general political matters, but not about specific candidates. This follows a long-standing practice designed to ensure fairness during an election year.
