Mrs. Minnie “Estelle” McLawhorn Guthrie, 94, a resident of Ridgewood Manor and a former resident of Chocowinity, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Church, Chocowinity, with a reception following. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Trinity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory, Washington, and other times at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Guthrie, 112 Dogwood Drive, Pamlico Village, Washington.
