Henry Daniel “Dick” Wobbleton

Henry Daniel “Dick” Wobbleton, 79, a resident of Plymouth, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at his residence.
Born May 24, 1932, in Martin County, he was the son of the late Hubert Wobbleton and Edna Rogerson Wobbleton and was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Wobbleton. Dick was a retired secondary fiber machine operator with 37 year’s service at Weyerhaeuser Corporation and member of Plymouth Church of Christ.
His family includes his wife of 60 years, Louie Lilley “Lou Ray” Wobbleton of Plymouth; daughter, Lori Ann Waters and husband James of Willow Springs; sons, Danny L. Wobbleton Sr. and wife Judy of Plymouth, James Gary Wobbleton Sr. and wife Sue of Ahoskie, Michael E. Wobbleton and wife Louise of Jamesville; sister, Gail W. Jones of Williamston; brothers, Delbert Wobbleton of Murrells Inlet; and Bennie Wobbleton of Williamston; grandchildren, Wendy, Jennifer, Danny Jr. and James Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Daniel, Kelsey and Bailey.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Plymouth Church of Christ, Plymouth, with Bob Moulden and Wayne Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Plymouth Church of Christ and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.
