Hackney Scott Tulloss, 14, became a fourth-generation Eagle Scout when he was honored at a ceremony at the First United Methodist Church in Wilson. Tulloss’ great-grandfather, James Hackney Jr., achieved the Eagle Scout rank in Beaufort County in 1932. Tulloss is the son of Scott and Elizabeth Hackney Tulloss of Wilson and the grandson of Marsha and Hodges Hackney of Chocowinity and John and Vicky Tulloss of Rocky Mount.
