Mr. Bobby Ray Buck, age 33, a resident of Tranquility Lane, Blounts Creek, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lewis family cemetery, Stilley Town Road, Blounts Creek, officiated by the Rev. David Linton. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. His body will lie in state today from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Service.
Bobby was born Nov. 15, 1978, in Charleston, S.C., son of Thomas Samuel “Tom” Buck Sr. and Barbara Jean “Jeannie” Jones Buck. He attended school in Summerville, S.C., Aurora High School and Beaufort County Community College where he took courses to become a welder. Bobby loved fishing and the outdoors. He also loved gardening and dreamed of owning a greenhouse.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepmother, Susan Buck, and brother, Thomas Samuel “Tommy” Buck Jr., both of Ahoskie, and his grandmother, Elsie Jones Fields of Blounts Creek.
