Chocowinity Middle School students who were nominated for the character trait of honesty during the month of February were (front row, from left) Ofelia Torres, Danielle Carter, Logan Braxton, David Vines, (back row, from left) Principal Dale Cole, Robbie O’Brien, Dajae Reddick, Maggie Vaughn, Alexia Alligood, and Trey Keyes. Colt Dixon and Stone Prechtl were unavailable for the photograph. They treated to doughnuts and drinks at a special ceremony Feb. 24. Cole presented each student with a certificate and gift bag. Reddick won the overall middle-school nomination, and Logan Braxton won the overall elementary-school nomination.
