Mamie Ruth Duncan, age 79, a resident 5963 N.C. Highway 17 South, Chocowinity, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the West Vanceboro Church of God officiated by the Rev. Robert Worthington. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by Pamlico Funeral and Cremation Service, Washington.
