Lena Bell Moore, a resident of 39 Joyner Circle, Washington, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ). Burial will follow in the Joyner family cemetery.

Lena Bell was born Aug. 5, 1940, to the late Howard and Magnolia Graddy Joyner. She was a 1958 graduate of P.S. Jones High School. Her careers included Millinery Hat Factory and Samson Shirt Factory.

William and Lena married in 1958 and from that union were four children: William, Vanessa (deceased), Anita and Gregory.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Viola, Daisy, David and Mack, and grandson Derrick.

She is survived by one brother, Rufus Joyner, Norfolk, Va.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Leon Randolph Memorial Chapel.
