Nellie Gurganus Ambrose, 87, a resident of 301 E. Vance St., Williamston, died Saturday, March 31, 2012, at the Brian Center, Windsor. A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Williamston, with the Rev. Susan Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston. Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston.
