The End of Life Care Coalition of Eastern Carolina is sponsoring a free advance-care planning clinic at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. April 26.
A brief educational session will begin at 10 a.m. Trained facilitators and notaries will be available starting at 10:30 a.m. to assist in the completion of advance-directive documents: living wills and health-care powers of attorney for those wishing to do so. Educational materials will be available free of charge. All activities will be held in the Maple Room at the rear of the Vidant Medical Center cafeteria.
Anyone intending to complete such documents must bring a form of personal identification.
The public is invited to attend. Preregistration is not necessary.
