Margaret Turner with East Carolina University’s School of Engineering visited students at Washington High School. Turner talked to the students about admissions, expectations and opportunities for students interested in engineering. In particular, Turner discussed East Carolinas’ five concentrations of engineering: biomedical, bioprocess, electrical, industrial and systems and mechanical. Turner also brought dancing robots, which had been created and programmed by ECU engineering students as an example of students’ work.
