Leaman Earl Whitaker, 73, of 1061 Hopkins Road, Williamston, died Friday, April 20, 2012, at Martin General Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Williamston 1st Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Roger Leggett and the Rev. Tommy Taylor. Burial will follow in the Hamilton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. today at Walker Funeral Home and at other times from the home. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Williamston.
