Mr. Mickey R. Lee Jr., 36, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012.

The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Interment will follow in the mausoleum at Pinewood Memorial Park.

Mickey was a native and lifelong resident of Beaufort County. For the past 13 years, he has worked for Sawyer’s Land Development. A joker by nature, he loved to make others laugh.

Mickey was preceded in death by his father, Mickey R. Lee Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Wanda A. Bowen and husband, Michael Keith Bowen, of Stokes; sister, Lisa Nicole Lee and fiancé Bunnie Lynn Lunsford II, of Winterville; nephew, Bunnie Lynn Lunsford III of Winterville; and numerous aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wilkerson Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
