I was disappointed to learn of Tommy Thompson’s retirement from being Beaufort County’s economic developer. I think he did an excellent job for the entire county during difficult economic times.

I would like to know why at the Five Points trash site someone can’t fix those holes out there. They shake and beat cars all to pieces. It’s uncalled for when there is a pile of rocks nearby that could be used to repair the holes. Somebody there is not doing his or her job.
