Ms. Jamie Christine Andrews, 69, a resident of Roanoke Nursing Center of Williamston died Monday, May 28, 2012, at Martin General Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pamlico Memorial Gardens of Washington, officiated by Pastor George Daniels. Pallbearers will be Buck Andrews, Leland Cutler, Paul Newman, J.A. Andrews, Terry Andrews and Avery Andrews Jr.

Ms. Andrews was born in Pitt County on July 5, 1942, daughter of the late Avery Alfred Andrews Sr. and the late Callie A. Andrews. She attended Pitt County Schools and was a member of Riverview Baptist Church.

Ms. Andrews is survived by two sisters, Pat A. Cutler of Washington and Miriam Jean Newman of Aurora; five brothers, Avery A. Andrews Jr., J.A. Andrews, Buck Andrews and Terry Andrews, all of Washington, and Edward Andrews of Grimesland. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. today at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
