Mrs. Ellisteen Hardy Tetterton, 86, a resident of 100 Credle Drive, Bath, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Vidant Pungo Hospital.

Funeral services will be private.

Mrs. Tetterton was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who is survived by her children: Woody Hardy and wife Donna of Chesapeake, Va., Bobby Hardy and wife Brenda of Washington, Scotty Hardy and wife Kathy of San Diego, Calif., Beth Guthrie and husband David of Bath and Jesse Hardy and wife Roseann of Charlotte; grandchildren; Kevin Hardy, Christopher Hardy, Jeremy Hardy, Katie Hardy, Laura Beth Ross, Julie Midgette, Don-Lee Hardy, Byron Hardy, David “D.J.” Simpkins, Jessica Hardy, Noah Hardy and A. J. Lightbody, and 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the North Carolina Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, 1841 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27635.
