A new Hardee’s restaurant in Washington is under construction at 2427 W. Fifth Street.

The restaurant is owned by North Carolina Hardee’s franchise operator Boddie-Noell Enterprises and is the second Hardee’s location in Washington.

The restaurant, scheduled to open in mid- to late July, will employ 50 people.

“We appreciate the support of our customers in the Washington area over the years and are excited to bring an all new Hardee’s to the community,” said Mike Boddie, president, restaurant division, Boddie-Noell.  “The new restaurant is designed to provide the best possible service both inside and at drive-through. We feel we’ve hit on a very attractive exterior, and we know our customers will appreciate our inviting, upbeat dining room.”

Operating hours for the new Hardee’s will be from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays.
