A big “thank you” for publishing the public records in Friday’s paper — sheriff’s reports, police reports, the marriages, divorces, all the records. Thank you. I really mean it. I think this is a step in the right direction and I’ve always thought the police and the sheriff’s department reports should be in the paper and you just added to it. Whoever done this deserves a pat on the back. Good job, good job, and I sincerely mean it.
Are all these restaurants that are coming to downtown Washington, what are they going to do, just open their doors and then close them back again in a few weeks?
I would like to thank the gentleman who gave me money at Dairy Palace on Friday morning to buy my breakfast. It just goes to show there are still some generous people in this world.
I enjoyed Wayland Whitley’s column “Mom, may I have a biscuit, please?” Just wanted to share with him we had a granny in our neighborhood would poke her finger in the biscuit and fill it full of molasses. His column reminded me of this. Just wanted to share it with him.
