A Washington man is wanted for breaking into a convenience store on Cherry Run Road, Washington, to steal beer and cigarettes, said the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.

At 3 a.m. on June 7, the front door glass was broken at Hilda’s Family Country Store and the alarm for the store activated.

An investigation revealed that Jeffery Allen Nobles, 36, of Farm Lane, Washington, had been captured on surveillance video while he was breaking into the store, said Major Kenneth Watson of the sheriff’s office.

Warrants for breaking and entering and larceny have been issued for Nobles. He has previously been charged with second-degree burglary and larceny, both in 2007. The sheriff’s office asks that anyone having any information about Nobles’ whereabouts to call 252-946-7111, or call Beaufort County Crime Stoppers at 252-974-6400.
