Donald Bundy, senior superintendent, marked his 25th anniversary with Washington-based WIMCO Corp. on June 15.
Bundy received a Rolex watch to recognize the occasion. He joins four other WIMCO veterans who received Rolex watches on their 25th anniversaries. Bundy began his career at WIMCO as a foreman.
After four years of learning the ropes, he became a project superintendent. In 2011, he became senior superintendent.
The finest example of his work can be found at The Left Bank Restaurant in Duck. Some of his other projects include the Sanderling Inn main building office renovation and the Sanderling’s Life Saving Station Restaurant, also in Duck; the Cypress Landing Golf Club, Chocowinity; the Pirates Point Shopping Center, Greenville; Hillside Funeral Home, Beaufort County; the new cosmetology building at Beaufort County Community College; and the First United Methodist Church of Washington’s newest addition and renovation.
Bundy lives in Washington Park.
