Mrs. Betty Fay O’Neal Winslow

Mrs. Betty Fay O’Neal Winslow, 73, a resident of 4761 Ward Blvd., Wilson, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Wilson Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington, officiated by Pastor Jerry Waters. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park of Greenville. J.T. “Buddy Roe” O’Neal, Bobby Ray “Bubba” O’Neal Jr., Ken Armstrong, Derrick Coltrain, Carter O’Neal and Gary Vick will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Winslow was born in Pitt County on March 8, 1939, daughter of the late Johnnie William O’Neal and the late Annie Viola Jones O’Neal. She attended Washington High School. Mrs. Winslow was a homemaker and was of the Southern Baptist faith. She loved music and family was a very important part of her life.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Ray “Tom” Winslow and his fiancée Robin Davenport of Jamesville; the father of Mrs. Winslow’s children, Elwood Ray Winslow of Goshen, Ala.; a brother, Thomas Wayne O’Neal of Summerville, S.C.; three sisters, Lois Ann Ball of Washington, Gloria Jean Ludwig and her husband Mark of Hubert, and Marie Simpkins and her husband Jimmy of Washington; a granddaughter, Hailee Annette Winslow of Vance, Ala.  Mrs. Winslow was predeceased by her parents and three brothers, Johnnie William “Buddy” O’Neal, Kirby L. O’Neal and Bobby Ray O’Neal.
The family will receive friends from noon until 12:45 p.m. Thursday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
