Mac Daniels (right), president of the Beaufort County Farm Bureau, presents a check to Alma Kathryn Crouch, vice-president of the Pungo Christian Academy FFA chapter, to help with expenses in traveling to the recent North Carolina State FFA Convention in Raleigh. The Pungo Christian Academy FFA chapter competed in the tool identification and the prepared public speaking career development events at the state level. Students had various leadership-enhancing opportunities and were able to gain a greater appreciation and knowledge so that they may better serve the agricultural community.
