Hayden Bruce Tankard (left), a sophomore at Northside High School, recently received his Eagle Scout award at a court of honor for Boy Scout Troop 258 held at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath. Tankard has served his troop as senior patrol leader, quartermaster and patrol leader under the guidance of scoutmasters Bill Fath, Doug Boyd and Brian Coke. For his Eagle Scout project, Tankard led fellow scouts, church and community volunteers in repairing and painting the interior and exterior of the historic 1860 vestry building at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church. Tankard is the son of Robert and Susan Tankard and serves as an acolyte at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church.
