Now is the time to get your outboard motor in good working order for the fall fishing season.
BCCC’s Division of Continuing Education will offer an outboard motor-repair class from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, beginning Aug. 16 and ending Dec. 13, in Room 102 of Building 8A on the BCCC campus. The class will not meet Sept. 3, Nov. 12 and Nov. 22.
The registration fee is $160 and includes student insurance at a cost of $2. The instructor is Jesse Elks.
Students in this self-paced class will learn how to repair outboard motors and maintain them — saving time and money. Elks will provide hands-on guidance as students work on their outboard motors. Stands for motors and some tools will be provided.
For more information about this class, interested persons should contact Lou Stout, director of occupation extension, at 940-6307.
Students may register by calling 940-6375 or in person in room 802 of Building 8 on the BCCC campus.
