Belk will host its bi-annual KidFest in-store event from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at all locations, including Belk at Washington Square.
The event includes a runway fashion show featuring local children as models that will highlight Belk’s latest fashions and trends for children.
KidFest activities and entertainment at Belk in Washington will tie in with local history with a “Treasure Island” theme, including a guest appearance by the pirate Blackbeard. The event also includes refreshments, music, games, face painting, balloons and prizes.
Parents interested in having their children ages 4 through 12 participate as models in their local KidFest fashion show should contact the Washington Belk store at 252-946-4155.
Children who serve as models for the fashion shows will receive 15 percent off any purchase in the children’s department.
