The alleged illegal sale of prescription pain meds resulted in the arrest of Roger Hannis Echelberger Sr., 47, of Tranters Creek Drive, Washington.

A press release from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit said controlled purchases of prescription pain medication had been made from Echelberger. On July 31, Echelberger was arrested and charged with trafficking in opiates by possession.
