SOUND OFF, Aug. 9

Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.

I’m so appreciative to the editorial in Friday’s paper instructing me on how to spend my money. I really would have never thought it would have been a better idea to support Eagles’ Wings or Stuff the Bus than go to Chic-fil-A and support a corporation’s right to free speech. Actually, it’s quite insulting that the writer of the editorial thinks that I want or care what they think I should spend my money on. The bigger point at Chic-fil-A was Americans protesting in a respectful, organized way the pressure that the left puts on conservatives. That was the point. The point was not to bring in extra money to an already blessed, very successful company. So, thank you, editors, so much for this guidance.
