On July 16, the Beaufort County Grand Jury indicted of Thomas Hugh Ashley Jr., 50, on four charges of indecent liberties with child, according to a press release from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.

In December of 2011, the sheriff’s office received a report an adult male had exposed himself on two separate occasions to two female juveniles as they walked past his house on Hillingdale Drive in Washington, said Maj. Kenneth Watson, spokesman of the sheriff’s office. At the time of both incidents, Ashley was inside his house when he exposed himself to the girls, said Watson.

Ashley was arrested July 25 and held at the Beaufort County jail on a $50,000 secured bond.
