Mr. James Edward Durbin, age 59, a resident of 115 Carolina St., Chocowinity, died Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, August 9, 2012, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and will be conducted by Rev. Melvin Haas.
Mr. Durbin was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on September 20, 1952, to Billy Durbin and Geraldine Drake Durbin of Hutchinson, Kansas who survive. He married Judith Ann Foulk who survives. He served in the United States Air Force from 1970 until 1975 and was employed by Impressions and Compmillennium both of Washington.
Survivors include his parents, his wife Judy Durbin of the home and her mother Anita Hodges Lewis and stepfather, Thomas Lewis. Other survivors include his sister Jody Miller, three nieces, Cyndi Burr, Anna Owen, Vicky Hoster, eleven grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his son, William Allen Durbin.
