Alfred Hemby, 86, a resident of Cross Creek Health Care Center, Swan Quarter, and formerly of Belhaven, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at White Plains Church Ministries, Belhaven. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. today at the chapel. Arrangements are by Whitfield & Whitley Funeral Home.
