The Pamlico Film and Book Club will hold its inaugural meeting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 30 in the upstairs conference room at Washington’s Brown Library. The newly formed group’s first discussion topic will be the 1975 documentary “Grey Gardens.” All prospective attendees are asked to watch the film in advance and be ready to discuss the film during the club’s session.
