Dr. Quoc Tai Phan has joined Vidant Family Medicine-Chocowinity.
Phan comes to Chocowinity from Ketchikan Indian Health Clinic in Alaska, where he worked since 2010. Prior to that, he worked at East Carolina Internal Medicine in New Bern.
Phan received his doctor-of-medicine degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn., and completed his postgraduate training in family medicine at Duke University in Durham.
“I am excited to be back after several years away,” Phan said. “This is a great group to be affiliated with, and a great community to be a part of.”
He joins Drs. Nancy Brous and Elizabeth York and family nurse practitioner Tracey Respess, who currently see patients at the practice located at 740 Bragaw Lane in Chocowinity.
The practice is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
