Derrick Lee Satterthwaite, 34, a resident of 805 E. Sixth St., Washington, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Whispering Pines Road. The family will receive friends at the home. Visitation is today from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the chapel. Arrangements are by Whitfield & Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
