Mrs. Harriett Elizabeth “Lib” Hull Harding, age 95, a resident of Chocowinity, NC, died Friday, August 17, 2012.
Graveside services will be held noon Monday, August 20, 2012 at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, conducted by the Rev. Sonny Browne.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Jim Rogers, Thomas Rogers, Kirby Balance and Herb Congleton.
Mrs. Harding was born in Van Wert County, Ohio, on April 11, 1917. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Edgar Hull and Lydia Grace Miller Hull. Mrs. Harding was a graduate of Washington High School. She was a retired shipping clerk. Mrs. Harding and her husband, Lester, moved to Chocowinity in 1998. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and attended the Grace Harwell Senior Center as long as long as her health permitted.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harding was preceded in death by her husband, Lester, in 2004; five brothers, Joseph Hull, Thomas Hull, Richard Hull, Robert Hull, Floyd Hull and four sisters, Ann Kirchner, Mary Roggenkemper, Jane Eder, Rhea Sheppard.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews living in surrounding states and foreign countries including Peggy Jean Rogers of Washington.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM Monday at Paul Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.
