Nancy Hassell Phelps, 90, of Creswell, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at Chowan River Nursing Center in Edenton. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at Philippi Church of Christ, Creswell, with Don Phelps and Glenn Brickhouse officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends Saturday at Maitland Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
