Your Friday sports page is terrible, horrible, atrocious. Baseball pennant races are heating up. You’ve got NFL preseason and the football season starting. You’ve got NASCAR at Bristol and what do you have? Nothing. There is a small group of people I believe that care about local sports and they should be represented, but not on the front page of your sports page. They don’t deserve top billing. You need to cover pro and college sports first. If there is any room left, then give it to the locals.

The weeds and grass behind the board of elections was not knee-high. Yes, it had grown. It was a little thick. But, the county does not pay for weekly service. So, before you start slandering somebody, you need to make sure you’ve got your facts straight.

Under the sports briefs of Saturday’s paper, “Armstrong stripped of titles,” the first five paragraphs, the first three are not even sentences, the fourth is a sentence, the fifth is not. It should be one paragraph. Who wrote this and could they possibly learn to write the English language, please?
